Look, Ma, the walls are gone!

It's day three on the construction front. Alia and Tanner are standing where the old closet once was. The old walls are completely gone now. A small section of the ceiling that was load-bearing (oops!) was supported and beamed yesterday. Today lots of spaces got filled--drywall where the old closet was, plywood on the floor where old walls were, etc. Things are moving along!

  • Madsens,

    How great is this!

We are in Ca for the week. Ted had to see docs, etc. Currently, we are in Anaheim at his daughter's house. Donnie, daughter and Don, son in law are going to have a family open house so all the rest of the generations can come to us.

I really like our new old house. It was built in 1902, and although large, minimum closet space. The cold, snowing weather has been such a joy! We left Cincinnati at 2 degrees and arrived in San Diego at 80! I much prefer the 2!
We are schedule to return home on Monday, the 12th , unless the uriology referral come through ASAP. Seems Ted's bout with stones is not over. He finally passed one, but he has a 8mm one looming in a kidney, which will need help being smashed and passed.

This is my fist blog! Technology, what a wonderful thing when I get it to work.

    Karenka
