It turned out to be canning day today. The sauerkraut from our cabbages was ready (it only took 7 or 8 days to "sour"). There were enough tomatoes to sauce.
Eight pints of kraut and 6 pints of sauce later, the kitchen is a mess, but our tummies will be happy!

The jars look beautiful!! Glad you like sour kraut. It's has encouraged me to can pickled beats.
