So there are a couple of news items this week.  First of all, Elena lost her first tooth!  Her adult teeth have been growing in for some time now, but the front lower baby teeth haven't wanted to come out.  She was playing legos on Thursday and used her teeth to separate two pieces (a normal thing, really) and snap, the tooth came loose.  It only took a bit more work to get it all the way out.  The other front tooth is now really loose, too.  Hurray!

 Jessica and I spent the fourth of July re-finishing our dining room table.  This is what it looked like a few weeks ago - it has gotten pretty beat up over the last 10 years or so.

This is the re-finished top.  We didn't do the whole thing, so it only took a bit of work to get it cleaned off and re-finished.  Here's to another 10 years!
