We did a quick trip out to Conner Prairie. They have a new "discovery" room with all sorts of fun toys for the kids--foam Lincoln logs, a tea table with dress up clothes, a garden, etc.





There is also a puppet area (not in the discovery room) which was lots of fun.

Check out the "chips" designer! Tanner didn't want ice cream for dessert--just the chocolate chips and an ice-pop. He immediately set to making a space ship with the chips.

Guess who I got to stay with? Gordon, Shawna, & baby Cali! It was a fun weekend!

School has started! Alia was up early (6:45am) this morning to get dressed, get breakfast, and get on the bus. She was the last one on the bus because she needed extra good bye kisses from each of us.





















Tanner has been waiting for days to wear his new pants. They are hand-me-overs, but he loves them!

We purchased this T-shirt at a garage sale. It was originally black printing on the white fabric. Tanner thought it looked cool. Then I remembered my stash of fabric crayons. Under his direction I colored each dinosaur and all the background elements. Did you know that the water had to be blue because that would make it "pure" water for the dinosaurs to drink? (The dinosaur bathing in it doesn't hurt the purity. I checked.) :)

The kids had lots of fun running around last night. Here's a short moving of them all turning somersaults.

Guess who got his big boy bed? :) Yup! That's one happy Tanner!

He chose the sheets too. Green is his current favorite color.
