We waited until it started to get dark and then we began our at home fireworks. We started with snakes (which were declared "Balrog poo"), then did a few 'tank' battles and lit some 'chickens'. Then we went out back and lit our happy lantern.
All the kids took turns lighting fuses...Elena loved lighting the fireworks! Eventually the show was over and we all cleaned up and went home. It was a lovely evening! Happy 4th of July everyone!
