Fall is here! Our first leaf-raking day produced this little pile of leaves. More will fall soon!

We had a special visitor this week! Aunt Marilyn stopped by on her way home from visiting her sisters. We LOVE having her visit!

There were all sorts of surprises with this visit--Aunt Marilyn had been staying with Aunt Florence and cousin Peggy and they sent treats--a tea set for the kids, cookies, and blintzes.

Have you ever had blintzes? They are a crepe burrito with sweet cheese filling. You heat them in a buttered pan and serve them with sour cream and homemade jam. Yum!

The treats were great, but the visit was fun too! Thanks for coming, Aunt Marilyn!

"Tick, tick, tick...tock!"

Mom's yarn is fun to play with. As I prepared this picture, Elena sat next to me saying, "Boing, boing, boing!" (Which, of course, is the sound made when she snaps the yarn tight! :)

Lego creations by the older brother. Some nap time was lost due to the noise of the block being dumped on the floor, but what amazing creations--a bee and a flower.

Two monkeys. Two hats. Two sets of mittens. Two silly kids!

Guess what was in our garden? Tomato worms with wasp larvae. Ew, yuck!

New hat and mittens for a little girl! Isn't she cute!?
(The set is Mom spun and knit, but a purchased roving.)

The trim still needs painting, but it's on the walls! Even the window sills are in. Isn't our Dad amazing!

Elena has learned to love videos. Her favorite tape is "Baby Songs", a collection of little songs that each of the kids has liked. She watched it last night before bed. She wants to watch it now. Mean Mommy said, "No."

Sunday snuggles. Mom has yet to put her glasses on. Alia, Tanner, and Elena all need loves and snuggles!
