A Few Holiday Pictures

Happy Holidays!  We've enjoyed the relaxed nature of the last few days.  Here are a few photos:

Note the new, shiny mouthpiece on this trumpet.  That's a happy trumpet player!

And this is what we do with pretty bows:

Check out the girl and her wheels!  It was about 10 degrees F out, but she still wanted to go skate!

A new twist on an old favorite:  veggie/humus houses.  They were yummy!

Deep concentration after legos were opened:

One puzzle down, two to go!

Silly faces and our stockings:

For the record, it was only the grown-ups who had veggie houses (but snitched candy anyway).  The kids all made graham cracker houses.  I think there are only one or two walls left of all the houses we made!

Cookies!

Look at them!  Aren't they scrumptious looking?!  This rack was from the end of the evening.  I see a Minion from Despicable Me, a purple gingerbread man without a head...  Towards the end of the decorating session we're allowed to be a bit tired and crazy!

Some of these photos were posed.

Then again, some of these posed photos were very true to life!

This handsome man is holding the "eye of sauron" cookie.

And look who came to help us!

They were yummy!

 Meow.

Christmas at Our House

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas at our house!  There is a new quilt to snuggle under while we read from our Christmas advent book.

There is a white tree with lights in the basement.  And, yes, the children have discovered when the light come on and love having the extra light in the basement!

And, there was a school concert!  Our little singer was excited.  She got to play the triangle in one piece and shine a flashlight in another!
Merry Christmas!  Best wishes for a happy holiday season!
