We were playing a "board" game (Jenga)....and then we got distracted. Next thing I knew, Tanner was asking me for help making the letter Y out of Jenga blocks. He asked me how to spell "see". I told him. All the rest is his work! I See You!

This is my already opinionated two year old, wearing Mommy's latest weaving project. It's pretty...she's cute!
And this picture will probably get me in big trouble some day....Tanner will discover this when he's 15 and beg me to get rid of it...
But he's not my artistic kid. He hardly ever draws or colors on paper. But he wanted to make this thank you note. He asked how to write "thank" and I made him a list of other words he might need in this particular note. I love the eyes on the word "Thank". I love the split words "tan-ner!" (note the exclamation point!). I am supposed to deliver it to Veronica (one of our babysitters) tomorrow....I'm not sure I'll be able to part with it!

We took a trip out to Indy and played at the Conner Prairie Adventure room. Trains, pretend farms, woodstove, animal puppets, general store, tea room, and maybe more! The best part was playing animal puppets with Dad...silly pig! Don't eat his nose!
Tanner and Elena got out the screwdrivers yesterday. I figured they needed something to use them on...a few screws and some old 2x4's and we had 15-20 minutes of fun project time!
